Project type
The Picacho Project is located in central Arizona approximately 60 km northwest of the city of Tucson. The project is located within a central position to numerous porphyry deposits including the Resolution deposit, the Ray Mine, Florence Copper, the San Manuel Mine, and the Sierrita-Esperanza district.
Three untested or partially tested covered target areas were identified along with a large area of untested ground with potential for additional covered targets.

Location and access
Located in Northwest Arizona, a region hosting significant historical production and in proximity to the Sheep Mountain Porphyry. The project covers 39 sq. km (consolidated through staking in 2023–2024). It is strategically positioned to benefit from Arizona’s Tier 1 infrastructure while offering a fresh exploration thesis on a district that has primarily seen historical high-grade vein mining.
Status
Geochemistry & Zonation: Analysis of BLEG (Bulk Leach Extractable Gold) and ICP assays reveals distinct metal zonation. The team is tracing the thermal gradient from cooler, gold-rich distal veins toward hotter, copper-dominant centers.
Porphyry Fertility: Field observations at the San Juan Mine identified a distinct Lead-Zinc (Pb-Zn) metal halo and sericite-sulfide alteration. In standard porphyry models, this shell typically brackets the inner copper core, providing a strong vector for targeting.
Geochronology: U-Pb zircon dating has confirmed the system is of Laramide age, making it temporally analogous to Arizona’s major operating copper mines.
Size
At 39 sq. km, exploration is focused on the intersection of newly identified Northwest-trending anomalies and Northeast dike swarms. These intersections often host high-grade ore shoots or porphyry stocks. The project is currently transitioning to a "Partner-Ready" stage, with new geological cross-sections designed to market the opportunity to incoming mining partners.
