Project type
The Iskar (EE1) Project represents a strategic partnership between Mundoro Capital and JOGMEC (Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security) to explore a high-potential, sediment-hosted stratiform copper system in Northwest Bulgaria. Covering 166.5 sq. km, the project targets a geological model analogous to the world-class Kupferschiefer (Germany/Poland) and the Central African Copperbelt, moving beyond traditional porphyry exploration into large-scale, basin-hosted mineral systems.

Location and access
Located in Northwest Bulgaria within the Apuseni-Banat-Timok-Srednogorie (ABTS) belt. The EE1 project covers 166.5 sq. km in a highly fertile district hosting approximately 60 known historical copper-lead-zinc occurrences. This area represents a strategic expansion into a region known for its copper-dominant systems and favorable mining jurisdiction.
Geophysics
AMT (Audio-Magnetotelluric): Completed 41.3 line-km survey, successfully mapping conductive subsurface zones interpreted as favorable stratigraphic contacts for mineralization.
Drone Magnetics: Regional survey covering 160 sq. km used to identify structural controls and magnetized zones across the license.
Project-Wide Geochemistry: Comprehensive soil grids have defined metal-rich horizons, aligning with geophysical anomalies to create high-confidence drill targets.
Drilling
1,800m in H2Following the successful modeling of AMT and magnetic data, the project is in a drill-ready state. A 1,800m program is planned for H2 2026 to test conductive horizons for "Kupferschiefer-style" or "Central African Copperbelt-style" mineralization. This program represents the first modern test of a stratiform copper target in this district. 2026
