Project type
The Borsko–Trstenik–South Timok JV is a multi-license exploration project covering 398 sq. km within the world-class Timok Magmatic Complex in Serbia. Partnered with BHP, this project leverages advanced exploration techniques to identify copper-gold porphyry and epithermal systems across three strategic license areas.
With an option for BHP to earn 100% by sole funding US $7.5 million in exploration, work is rapidly advancing through the Target Delineation and Testing stages. Current operations are focused on identifying undercover porphyry sources and extensions of mineralization similar to the nearby world-class Bor and Majdanpek deposits.

Location and access
Timok is one of the most prolific metallogenic domains in the Tethyan Belt, hosting several significant deposits and major producing mines, including the Čukaru-Peki Deposit. The project area benefits from excellent year-round road access, proximity to the major mining hub of Bor, and established high-voltage power and water infrastructure.
Geophysics
IP (Induced Polarization): Over 230 line km of survey data used to identify disseminated sulfide mineralization typical of porphyry systems.
CSAMT: Strategic deep-sensing electromagnetic surveys (over 260 line km) conducted to map structural controls and alteration zones at depth.
Multi-Physics Integration: Complementary Ground Magnetics and Passive Seismic data sets (covering 100+ sq km) are being used to refine drill targeting and reduce discovery risk.
Drilling
Between 8,000m – 12,000m of diamond drilling is planned for 2026. This program is designed to test high-priority targets generated from the 2023–2025 geophysical campaigns, focusing on potential extensions of known mineralized trends and blind deep-seated targets.
