Chala Mine

The Chala Mine is located within the Spahievo orefield, part of the Dragoyna volcano in Southern Bulgaria. It is structurally connected to the Mechkovets strike-slip fault and is owned and operated by the private Bulgarian company, Gorubso Kardjali AD. The mine benefits from the region’s long history of mining, with excellent industrial infrastructure and road access to nearby processing facilities.
